The Following Day.....

Well I made it out alive although considerably poorer. I also have a secret....which really isn't that much of a secret to the people who actually read this but it'll stay a general secret for the next week.

On other news my mom had a loss today. *sniffles* Her tree died. And not in the normal the lights went out no it couldn't be something simple as re-stringing instead after my dad brought up the closed plastic tubs from the basement it was discovered that there was water standing in one of them and the tree had rusted. Now as to HOW water got in it I don't know but I think it about made my mom cry. We've had that tree for years. I believe since we stopped usuing real ones which is further back in my memory than I can really go and if not that old at least 13 years old (as old as the new part of the house). Anyway so while I'm here in the the horrible place of Champaign I'm goin tree huntin'. It won't be a success becasue mom and I have looked before and well.....nothing is right but we will try!

4 AM......

*sigh* why oh why? at least he wasn't a pain to get up. 'black friday' in champaign.......i'll let ya know if i make it through.

Two things....

First......

YEAY FOR TWILIGHT!! lol....so happy I finally got to see it and while I'm still ticked about the night before excursion it is definately a movie worth the weight. The acting was done beautifully Rob Pattison (Edward) did a WONDERFUL job of conveying just how much it hurt to try not to be around Bella, and the possessiveness he felt toward. I also have to give major props to the guy who played Bellas dad.....(so sorry I don't know who it is) when Bella left it just about broke my heart!! I LOVE JASPER! I wasn't really expecting too. In all the photos I had seen I always thought 'no no no no no....he's so WRONG!' but I love the kid! I kept telling my friend he is like a quirky edward scissorhands. Wanting to be part of the world but not really sure how to handle it. All of the actors were phenomenal and congratulations on the opening weekend. Looking forward to 2010 and New Moon.

Second.....

HOW THE CRAP AM I THE FIRST ONE OF MY FRIENDS TO HAVE MY TREE UP AND DECORATED?!?! I hate christmas. Okay I don't hate it just not a ton of happy happy memories. Still I put my tree up and decorated it last night. I love it by the way. I had found some ribbon and based my tree off of it. It has almost and old world, victorian feel too it. I still don't understand how this happened.....*shakes head in disbelief*

STUPID PEOPLE!!

Ok so i HATE stupid people!! My friend and I went to go see Twilight last night and failed. We were told by the operator on the phone that there were showtimes at 12:01, 12:09, and 12:10 and asked for confirmation that it was for that night and was rudely told that "yes of course". So we drove 45 minutes to see this movie and the doors were locked. We looked inside and the marquee inside said that it was showing but had low seating so i left my friend outside while I went to get food (hadn't eaten since like one) and came back and she tells me that someone came out and said that they could no longer sell tickets because they had taken the drawer back. keep in mind this was at like 10:30. We later found out that the times they had posted were for the night before and they had just failed to take them off the marquee. We were extremely pissed. Stupid people get your info right!!! Anyway I have bought our tickets on fandango today and can't wait to see the movie tonight. Full review as soon as possible! LOL

OMG TWILIGHT!!

Ok so tomorrow i get to go see Twilight! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Obviously I am tottally excited and can't wait. Too bad I have to go to work tonight or I would tottally be going to the midnight showing to see the lovely Rob Pattison in action. I read the book before I knew there was a movie and loved it then. I'm sure that the movie will hold up to the book. I know alot of people are a bit skeptical but judging from the previews I think it will be awesome. I know I will probably be left wondering how long I will have to wait before Eclipse comes out in a movie but hopefully I'll have Harry Potter to tied me over next summer. (crosses fingers) I may have to placate myself by reading all the Twilight books again and hopefully (crosses fingers again...) Midnight Sun will be out sometime next year.....that would be soooo awesome. Well thats all I have for now. I will probably try to put the Decode video on here in honor of the twilight release. Edit: Well after some further research all I have to say is this: Shame on the person who broke Stephenie Meyer's trust by distributing an unfinished copy of Midnight Sun. Thank you for ruining this for all of her fans since the distribution of it has made Stephenie decide to indefinately put off the book.
